Customization

Once your base mesh appears in the viewport, you can begin fine-tuning your character using the intuitive slider system in the Base Mesh Maker panel. Each physical and facial characteristic can be adjusted using sliders that range from -1 to 1, where negative values typically reduce the selected feature while positive values enhance it.

For example, sliding the weight parameter towards -1 creates a leaner figure, while moving towards 1 increases body mass. The same principle applies to all parameters: muscularity, hip-size, jawline strength, nose size and shape, brow ridge protrusion, and lip size. These sliders provide precise control over your character's features, allowing you to make subtle adjustments or dramatic changes with a simple drag of the slider.

Once you are satisfied with your base mesh in the viewport press ‘Apply Features’ to bake the customization in the mesh. This will prevent undesired aberrations in previous generations should you use Base Mesh Maker to work on new meshes.
